April 2005 Entries

Code Camp Oz is one of the best event that I have attended. Thanks to everyone who organized this event and to the presenters. I have learnt a lot and went away with lots of bits of information and ideas. Networked with other .NET fellows, eat pizza, and experienced wonderful city of Wagga Wagga and the Charles Sturt University.

A special thanks to Irfan Altas who is the head of the IT at CSU and hoster of this event by providing the place and internet connection, cheese and wine.

Thanks everyone. See you next time.

I put up my Guitar Chord Database application on to site. It shows you the chords and plays via midi. I have written this long time ago with VB6. I haven't got a chance to convert to .NET yet. Extract the zip to a folder and run the exe.

I have upgraded the installation. Previously distributed exe wasn't running at all.

When I have got the e-mail through Dr. Peter Stanski's .NET list about the shows, I have logged in to site and downloaded the mp3 file. This is awesome and another reason to buy an mp3 player.

Thanks to MS and Dr. Pete...

I am not a good blogger, I know. I was too busy with work and couldn't get a chance to sit in front of my computer and blog & surf. We don't have internet access from work, my boss is going to apply for it, I have filled out the forms and written a small business case to get the internet on my desktop. We'll see how it goes. Off course I am not going to blog from work.

I was looking for a free Subversion repository which I can share and develope some projects. I have found https://developer.berlios.de/. As long as you can provide a good project description, you can get some space and WebDav access.
