Now, my wife Elif and
Uzay are sleeping so that I can write to my blog. Since Uzay arrived 3 weeks
ago, there are many things happened.
Just today, Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005 has been shipped on MSDN
Subscriptions. This was a great and exciting news. Downloads are started. I left
work early today to download these :-)...
Master of Software Engineering course
at ANU is finished, now I need to finish 2
assignments to be able to graduate at December. Assignments are going well.
Uzay already started
to S26 formula. It is hard to keep with his demand.
He is an easy baby I
think, compared to other horror stories I have heard. He cries only when he is
hungry. Wet nappy is not a problem for him thanks to Huggies. The best thing is
to let him sleep on my tummy.
I have downloaded IronPython and
registered for
their
e-mail list, thought it would be nice to see what others are doing with
different languages on .NET Framework.
I will be attending to Industrial Strength .NET course at
Readify between 14th and 18th of November.
It is just the right time to attend a course as there is not much happening at
the work. Work is alright. We teamed up for the 10.000 step challenge. Everyday
we walk to Anzac Parade, Burly Griffin lake, Old Floriade, ANU and back to
office. I am not doing much exercises these days and put on some weight and
maybe I could loose some with this challenge.
I have bought "ASP.NET
2.0 A Developers Handbook". I quite like these books, no chit chat, just
necessary information without flooded by unnecessary examples and stories. I
have also bought "Personal
Software Process" of Watts S. Humphrey's. This book is a necessary guide
for every developer to learn how to be more effective and productive. Highly
recommended.
That is all for now. I will be writing about CMMI, PSP, TSP and process
improvement methods soon.
